A bit of Key West sails its way up the coast for the first annual Key West Phest featuring the Peter Mayer Group - (Lead Guitarist for Jimmy Buffett), local favorites Key West Express, steel drums and more...
There will also be a "Parrakeet" area with the ExpERIEnce Children's Museum doing some fun activities including Uncle Jim Mayer (of Peter Mayer Group and Coral Reefers) entertaining with selections from his debut children's CD "Funky as a Diaper".
This will be a free community event held at Liberty Park's Pepsi Amphitheater overlooking Erie's Bayfront on July 17 from 2-10 p.m. There will be plenty of food and beverage vendors, tropical attire for sale, and a Chinese Auction.
Partial proceeds for the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.
